Hai [海, Hǎi] is named after the Founder’s Chinese name which means ocean (the name given to me by my grandma). Hai coffee roaster is founded from the lessons of many years of experience in life that have taught us to be self-reliant. You have to believe in yourself and rely on yourself in order to create something great. We have always enjoyed making coffee and this time is another great opportunity for us to make our coffee in our way and beliefs. Coffee is subjective - we all like coffee differently. Some people like it sour, some like it bitter, some people like coffee that has clarity in flavor and the list goes on.
